Deirdre + Jonathan
This incredibly adventurous wedding weekend in San Francisco is something to be remembered, THAT’S FOR DAMN SURE! Deirdre and Jonathan are also wedding and elopement photographers and one of the top places on their bucket list was to visit Northern California. Ohhh and it definitely did not disappoint them! We started this epic wedding weekend by exploring the hills by San Francisco. One in particular was called Mount Tamalpais. I will forever remember this place because of the incredible photos that came from it. I mean, come on, some moody and intimate photos in front of a Jeep covered in fog. What gets better than that? We literally parked in the middle of the road to get these photos and only one car passed us the whole time. Talk about a great start to their wedding weekend.
The next morning was their intimate elopement in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. We shot at sunrise and there was literally no one in sight. If you dislike people and want a more intimate wedding in a popular spot, think about eloping at sunrise. After the photos at the Golden Gate Bridge we went exploring along the coast. HOLY FREAKING GORGEOUS! Southern California is cool, but Northern California is where it is at. We checked out a lighthouse near the bridge and all the surrounding areas. Couples who are down to see new places and just have a good time on their wedding day are amazing! I always feel like the random creep following couples around taking photos, but we seriously always have a blast talking, laughing and having a good time.
The next day we went to Big Sur and checked out that amazing landscape. Since Jonathan and Deirdre are also photographers, they took a lot of pictures at every single place we went to and it was cool to see them just as enthusiastic about the places we were going to and the photos we were capturing. I can honestly say after this intimate wedding weekend in San Francisco, Jonathan and Deirdre have become such amazing friends. I can’t wait to go on more adventures with you two and be the awkward and creepy third wheel. Thanks again for such an amazing weekend in the Bay Area. Enjoy the photos everyone!
